Each kit contains over 17 different activities, and parent-child interaction is encouraged, as the kits are so much fun to do together. The child is having fun while learning about the many fascinating aspects of electricity and magnetism. Many of the projects have a section called "Zany Idea" or "Just for Fun" that invites the child to try different variations on the original activity. The unique presentation of building on previous knowledge and open-ended exploration help children build many important problem-solving processes including planning, reasoning, causal inference, tool use and logical deduction.
