Making Headlines Around the World

Setup (one time)

  1. Create a web endpoint in our Django app to receive messages from Kontent.
  2. In Kontent, add a webhook to that endpoint that fires when a blog post is published.

Every time an article is published

  1. The editor publishes the English article in Kontent.
  2. Kontent notifies our server via the webhook.
  3. Our code verifies the message came from Kontent.
  4. Our code checks the published language: English → continue; other languages → stop to avoid loops.
  5. Our code reads the English article's content.
  6. Our code prepares each language version:
    • UK and Canada: use the English text as-is.
    • Mexico and Germany: translate the text.
  7. Our code saves each version back to Kontent.
  8. Our code publishes each version. in https://www.jazwares.com/
